This is my first diorama - in fact, my first model - in about 15 years...I built this M4A3 Sherman from the Tamiya "Frontline Breakthrough" model, heavily modified and updated...I added sponson bottoms, scratchbuilt hatch cages from window screen, swapped tracks with the early Tamiya Sherman M4A3 so I got the proper T54E1 with EECs, used Miliput to scratch a water tank and sandbags, tinfoil from a drink mix container to make a camo poncho, scratch built a tow cable using picture frame wire, used the HardCorps Models resin wooden sponson armor set, modified the existing rear deck shelf to fit on the back of turret bustle and MORE...

I used as my inspiration the photo of COED, one of the four flame tanks assigned to 4th Tank Bn...
